These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the HomeWise website and waitlist (“HomeWise,” “we,” “us”). By joining the waitlist, using the qualifier tool, or otherwise using the site, you agree to these Terms.

What HomeWise is

HomeWise helps Los Angeles homeowners identify utility rebates and savings programs they may be eligible for, based on information they provide (like ZIP code, utility provider, and household details). HomeWise is an independent service. We are not a utility company, a government agency, and we are not affiliated with SoCal Edison, SoCalGas, LADWP, or any program administrator we reference.

Not a guarantee

Results from the qualifier tool are estimates based on the information you provide and publicly available program rules. They are informational only, not a guarantee of eligibility, approval, or savings amount. Final eligibility is always determined by the program or utility administering it. HomeWise does not provide financial, legal, or tax advice.

The waitlist

Joining the waitlist reserves your spot for early access and lets us email you about HomeWise’s launch and relevant savings opportunities. It is not a purchase, account, or commitment on either side. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send — see our Privacy Policy for details.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit false information to manipulate qualifier results
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or misuse the site or its data
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose

Intellectual property

The HomeWise name, logo, site design, and content are owned by HomeWise. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HomeWise is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including missed or denied rebates.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves — for example, once accounts and paid features launch. We’ll update the effective date above when we do. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
